What lives where

BrainRoad: Your account, Computer assignment, secure routing, screen access, backup, recovery, included model key, and billing.
Hermes: Bots, chats, models, memory, skills, routines, tools, connectors, permissions, execution, and files.
Proxmox: The current VM, disks, console, and infrastructure task state behind the BrainRoad boundary.

Your state is the product.

The replaceable system image holds Debian, XFCE, Chrome, and the pinned Hermes build. A separate backed-up volume holds the state that belongs to you: Hermes, /workspace, Chrome profiles, files, Bots, skills, routines, and conversations.

Look only when it helps.

Computer view is optional and view-only at first. Watch the shared screen, take control after Hermes reports it is idle, complete a password, passkey, two-factor code, CAPTCHA, payment confirmation, or identity check, then return control to Hermes.

Bots on one Computer share files, browser sessions, and credentials. They are not security boundaries. The customer Computer is.
