Privacy notice

BrainRoad LLC, doing business as BrainRoad AI & IT Services, uses optional service texts to respond to requests, arrange appointments, and provide repair or service updates. Entering a phone number alone does not opt you in. The separate, unchecked texting box on a help-request form is optional; you can request help by phone or email without agreeing to texts. We record your choice, the disclosure version and wording, the number supplied, and the submission time with your request.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with other businesses for their own use. We share information only with service providers that help deliver and manage the requested messages, including Zoom and its messaging providers, or as required by law. This restriction on SMS consent applies to the other information-sharing descriptions in this notice.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. You can also contact [email protected] or call (573) 687-9015. Service-text consent does not authorize marketing messages. See the text-message terms.

Zoom Scheduler offers its own optional appointment-text choice. Those reminders use Zoom's messaging service and a separate sending number; choosing them does not grant consent to unrelated BrainRoad texts. Reply STOP to the sending number to stop those reminders.

Help-request forms ask for your name, a phone number or email address, and what needs attention. Business name, contact preferences, household or business context, and preparation details are optional. Appointment booking is handled through the scheduling experience shown on BrainRoad pages.

The repair intake form collects your name, email, phone, device description, reported problem, and optional accessories. BrainRoad keeps these with the repair status, assigned staff member and work history in a private Cloudflare database. After staff review, your contact details are used to create or match your billing customer in Stripe. Repair notes, passwords and device files are not sent to Stripe by this connection. Intake does not authorize a charge or paid work.

BrainRoad uses this information to respond, decide whether the request fits, prepare the conversation, provide agreed service, keep necessary business records, and protect the site from misuse. A business-call request does not add you to a marketing email list.

The free cheat-sheet form asks for your email address and, optionally, your first name. It is only used when you tick the box asking for the cheat sheet and emails. BrainRoad then sends the cheat sheet and five short follow-up emails over about ten days, from [email protected] through our email provider, Resend. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply “unsubscribe.” Your address is not sold or shared with other businesses.

Do not place patient information, client secrets, passwords, financial account details, or other sensitive records in a website form. Share only what is needed to arrange the conversation.

To limit automated submissions, the site uses a short-lived hashed network identifier and a request counter. These counters expire within two hours and are removed by the recovery process; the intake counter does not store your raw IP address.

The free guides at /tech-safety/ keep fixed-choice selections and self-reported observations in this browser so you can return. They are not submitted to BrainRoad. Saved guide choices expire after 30 days without a new selection and are discarded on your next visit. Use “Clear my saved choices” in the guides to remove them sooner. Downloaded cards remain on your device until you delete them. The guides do not request photos, passwords, email addresses, or recovery codes.

Optional tracking on brainroad.com stays off until you choose it. Use “Cookie choices” at the bottom of any page to accept, reject or change separate analytics and advertising choices. This browser remembers your decision for up to six months. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent calls, requests, booking or checkout. Course checkout at learn.brainroad.com is managed separately by Wix; your choices here do not set Wix preferences.

If you allow advertising measurement, the site records the first landing and referring pages, campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers when present. The browser may keep these values for up to 90 days to connect a later request or appointment to that visit. Without this permission, request forms send the current page address without its query parameters, and no saved campaign identifiers. Turning advertising measurement off clears the site's saved campaign records.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics records site usage and Microsoft Clarity provides masked session recordings and heatmaps. If you allow advertising measurement, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta record advertising and accepted-inquiry events. Microsoft receives page activity, advertising click identifiers and accepted business-inquiry or confirmed-booking events when you allow advertising measurement; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Personalized Google advertising stays off. These providers process information under their own privacy terms. Changing a choice stops future optional tracking; it does not erase information already received by a provider.

With your analytics permission, we save the Google Analytics visitor and session identifiers and first and latest source labels with a service request or appointment. This lets us connect a later qualified request, verified payment or refund to the visit. These source labels may be kept in this browser for up to 90 days. Google receives the identifiers, service category, source labels and payment amounts, not your name, email, phone number or service notes.

With your advertising permission, we may send Meta a qualified-request or verified-payment event with the time, service payment amount and hashed email or phone number for matching. Hashing transforms the contact details; it does not make them anonymous. With that permission and a recorded Microsoft advertising click, we may also send Microsoft a qualified-request or verified service-payment event, its time, payment amount and transaction reference. We may correct that reported amount after a verified refund. Microsoft receives the click identifier, but no email address, phone number or service notes from this outcome feed. For a request recorded by phone or in person, staff record permission separately before sharing these outcomes. Contact [email protected] to stop future outcome sharing for a saved request; changing browser cookie choices stops future optional browser measurement.

For visitors who allow advertising measurement and arrive from eligible Google ads, Google may display a forwarding phone number and process call details, such as timing and duration, to measure calls generated by those ads.

You can clear site data in your browser. Browser privacy controls and advertising-platform settings may also limit measurement or personalized advertising.

The repair intake and private Repair desk do not load advertising or analytics scripts. Staff sign-in uses a one-use email link valid for 10 minutes and an essential, secure session cookie lasting up to 8 hours. Staff access is limited by account and role.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Help requests are saved in a private Cloudflare database before delivery to the owner by email through Resend or to Close, when configured as the customer relationship system. Stable submission identifiers support retrying an interrupted delivery without creating another inquiry. Household and business requests remain distinguishable. Appointment booking is handled by Zoom Scheduler. Booking contact details, answers and appointment changes are sent to BrainRoad through a signed integration and use the configured inquiry-delivery destination. A private booking-context record connects campaign information to the appointment for up to 90 days; Zoom receives an opaque reference instead of the stored click identifiers.

BrainRoad does not sell form submissions. It does not upload residential repair contacts into a business advertising audience merely because their information is available. Information may be disclosed when required by law, needed to protect a person or the service, or involved in a lawful business transfer.

Raw delivered intake copies are removed from the website database after 90 days, once the minimal private opportunity record has been preserved. Requests still awaiting delivery are retained for recovery. Private opportunity, CRM and service records keep the contact details, requested outcome, permitted source context, and relevant decision or service evidence as reasonably needed for the request, service, accounting, security, or dispute handling.

This site and its services are intended for adults arranging household or business technology help, not for children. Links to another company’s service are governed by that company’s notice.

If the site’s collection or providers change materially, BrainRoad will update this page and its effective date so the public notice matches the real implementation.
