The quote went out Tuesday. You never heard back.
Maybe they hired someone else. Maybe it’s sitting in their inbox. You were on the next job and never had a minute to ask.
Every business has a place like that, where people who were ready to buy quietly slip away. That’s the first thing a good AI consultant should look for, before anyone talks about software. The AI Game Plan finds it with you: one session, one price, and a written plan you keep.
More customers won’t help if they slip away at the same place.
When business feels slow, the usual advice is more ads, more posts, a new website. Sometimes that’s exactly right. But if the people who already call you reach voicemail, more ads mostly bring more voicemail. And a new AI app won’t help if it’s aimed at a job that was never holding you back.
You’ve been busy doing the work. Nobody can do the job, answer the phone and chase every quote at the same time. That’s why it helps to have someone outside the business count what happens to your customers and point to the one place worth fixing first.
Where do your customers slip away?
There are four places to look. In the session we find yours, and what it would take to fix.
- They can’t find you.
- Someone searches for what you do and calls the business that showed up. The fix may be a clearer website, a Google profile that’s filled in, or both. Websites
- They reach out, and nobody answers in time.
- The call goes to voicemail while you’re on a job. The form waits until Monday. An AI receptionist, a missed-call text back, or a form that reaches the right person can answer first. Missed calls
- They get a price and go quiet.
- The quote goes out, and nobody has a minute to follow up. AI can draft the quote sooner and the follow-up on time, and a person on your team sends it. How a build works
- They were happy, and nobody asked again.
- A good job ends, and nobody asks for the review, the referral, or the next visit. A simple routine can ask every time. Review requests
Sometimes customers aren’t the problem at all. It’s the notes you finish at night, or a team that pays for ChatGPT and uses it five different ways. If time is what holds the business back, that’s where we start.
Count last month’s customers.
Four numbers show where to look first. It’s the same count we start the session with, so you can try it now.
Rough guesses are fine. Your answer appears here as you type.
Rough math with your own numbers. It isn’t a forecast. It shows where we’d start looking. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere unless you add it to your request.
How the 90 minutes work.
1. Book and pay in one step.
Pick a time that suits you. A confirmation with the Zoom link arrives right away.
2. Walk me through one customer.
From the first call to the finished job: who answers, how the price gets made, what happens after. We put rough numbers on each step. Where the numbers drop most is where we look first.
3. Leave with your plan.
A short written plan for your business, ready to act on yourself or with my help.
What your written plan covers.
- Where customers slip away most, in your own numbers
- The fix to try first, and the jobs to leave alone for now
- What each fix would take: rough cost, effort and software
- How we’ll count the result, so you can see whether it helped
- Who on your team would use it, and what they check
You choose what gets fixed.
The plan is a recommendation, not a contract. Use it yourself, hand it to your own IT person, or have me build it. Whatever you choose, a person checks prices, promises and anything that reaches a customer.
If you’d like me to build it.
- It’s tried on your real work first.
- Before you rely on it, we run it on at least 20 of your past calls, messages or quotes and look at every result together. AI doesn’t get it right every time, so we judge it on many examples, not one good one. A person on your team still approves what reaches a customer.
- It’s built in your accounts.
- Your logins, your data and your subscriptions, with written instructions your team keeps. It doesn’t need me to run it, as long as the services it uses stay active. Ownership and handoff terms
- Then we look for the next place.
- Fix one place, and another becomes the slowest. That’s normal. With optional AI Care ($299/mo), we check your numbers each month, tune what’s running, and pass the best way of doing a job, like the follow-up that gets answered, to everyone on your team.
If we don’t find one thing worth fixing, you don’t pay.
Come to the session, walk me through the work, and read the plan. If it doesn’t name at least one change you think is worth making, tell me within 14 days and I’ll refund the full $297. You don’t have to explain.
Your part is to bring the real work. Mine is to find something in it worth fixing.
Your $297 keeps working for you.
Go ahead with the AI for Your Office workshop or the AI Quick Start within 30 days, and the $297 counts toward it. Use the plan on your own instead, and it’s yours to keep.

Questions before you book.
Is this an AI audit or an AI readiness assessment?
Yes, sized for a small business. Big-company assessments score data and systems. This one follows your customers and your week, finds where AI or a simpler fix would help most, and puts it in a short written plan. The price is $297, known before you book.
How much does an AI consultant cost?
The Game Plan is $297, paid to BrainRoad when you book. If you want me to build what it recommends, the AI Quick Start is $2,497 for two jobs, and your $297 counts toward it if you go ahead within 30 days. Any software subscription is separate, paid to the software company, and approved by you first.
Do I need to know my numbers?
No. Rough guesses are fine. If nobody has been counting, the first step in your plan may be a simple way to start, so you can see the result later.
Do I need to know anything about AI first?
No. You bring the work you know: how calls get answered, how a quote gets made, what happens after the job. Turning that into a plan is my part.
What if AI is the wrong tool for the job?
Then the plan says so, and often names the simpler fix: a script for the phone, a reminder, or connecting two programs you already have. A plan that saves you from a wasted subscription is a good outcome too.
Can you build an AI agent for my business?
Yes, when one fits the job. An AI agent is an assistant that handles a few steps on its own, such as reading a new inquiry, drafting the reply and adding it to your customer list for a person to approve. The plan says whether one is worth it, or whether something simpler would do.
What if the plan isn’t useful?
Tell me within 14 days of the session that it didn’t name one change worth making, and I’ll refund the full $297.
What happens after the plan?
You decide. Use it yourself, hand it to your own IT person, or have me build it. The $297 counts toward the AI for Your Office workshop ($1,497) or the AI Quick Start ($2,497) if you go ahead within 30 days.
Can we meet in person?
Yes, in Columbia, Missouri. Call (573) 687-9015 and we’ll set it up. Everywhere else in the U.S., we meet on Zoom.
What if my schedule changes?
Reschedule or cancel free up to 24 hours before the session.
