New computer? Move what matters and check it works.

$199 setup and transfer

Bryan Leasure, the person you’ll talk to

Bryan Leasure30 years in IT. I do the work.

Nothing gets erased until it’s checked.

Hardware at cost, or buy it anywhere.

Calls: 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Central, Monday–Saturday.

The new computer is ready. You’re not sure you are. Your files, email and familiar programs are still on the old one, and you don’t want to discover what’s missing after it’s gone.

Let’s make the new computer ready for your actual day. I move your files, set up email, programs and the printer, then check the tasks you rely on. We check the transfer before anything gets erased from the old computer.

Full setup and transfer are $199 flat. Nothing gets erased until it’s checked.

Choosing and ordering included if you want. Buy the computer anywhere; I never mark up hardware.

Sound familiar?

You don’t need the technical words. Tell me which of these sounds like your computer, or just describe what it’s doing.

An older laptop with photo folders beside a new laptop and an external drive.
The new computer is here. The files and everyday tasks still need to move with you.
You don’t know which one to buy
Six laptops that look the same, with prices $400 apart. You just want one that does what you need.
Everything is on the old computer
Documents, photos, bookmarks, email and years of folders, and you’re scared of missing something.
Your programs don’t copy over
The new computer needs the programs installed fresh, with the right sign-ins and licenses. Not a blind copy of the old one.
The new one won’t stop asking questions
Microsoft accounts, cloud backup, trial software, privacy choices, updates. The first start is a maze.
The printer and email have to work too
It isn’t finished when the desktop appears. It’s finished when you can print and your email opens.
Several people used the old computer
Different people’s files, browsers and documents need sorting before everything lands in one pile.

Set up around what you actually do every day.

We start with what you don’t want to lose: your folders, your programs, your email, your bookmarks and your printer.

  1. STEP 1

    Pick the right machine

I recommend two or three specific computers for your budget and what you do. I can order it at cost with the receipt (I never mark up hardware), or you buy it anywhere. Choosing, ordering, setup and transfer are $199 flat.

  2. STEP 2

Make a list of what matters

Files, programs, email, bookmarks, printers and special settings: we find where they all live before anything moves.

  3. STEP 3

Set up the new one cleanly

Updates, privacy choices, accounts and backups, with the junk software removed, before it becomes your everyday computer.

  4. STEP 4

Move your files and check them

Files are copied and opened in their new home, instead of trusting one “transfer everything” button.

  5. STEP 5

    Test your real routine

Email opens, bookmarks are there, the printer prints, and your important programs launch before the old computer is retired.

Nothing gets erased until the move is checked.

Questions people ask me

What if I only need one thing fixed on the new computer?
A single problem, like email or the printer, can be a $99 remote fix. The complete setup and transfer is $199. I’ll tell you which one you need before you approve anything.
Replacing a Windows 10 computer?
Standard Windows 10 support ended on October 14, 2025, but that does not automatically mean you need a new computer. I’ll check whether yours can move to Windows 11 or qualifies for Microsoft’s Extended Security Updates (ESU). The consumer ESU program currently runs through October 12, 2027, with enrollment required; business use has separate requirements. If replacement makes sense, your files, email, bookmarks and printer come over, your programs get installed fresh, and we check it all before the old computer is wiped. Get a free second opinion first.
Can you make it exactly like the old one?
Your files, bookmarks, email, printers and many settings can move. Programs usually need to be installed fresh, which is a good thing, because it leaves the old problems behind.
Do you sell computers?
I’ll recommend one and order it for you at cost with the receipt, or you can buy it anywhere. The setup is the same either way, and I never mark up hardware. Choosing, ordering, full setup and transfer together are $199 flat.
Can setup be done remotely?
Yes, when both computers work and are online, anywhere in the U.S. If the old drive is failing, getting the files off it may be a separate recovery job. I’ll tell you first.
When can I get rid of the old computer?
After your files, programs, email, printer and backup are checked on the new one. Then I can help wipe the old one before it leaves your hands.

Keep the new computer. Leave the setup headache to me.

Tell me what needs moving. Complete setup and transfer are $199, remote or hands-on, and nothing on the old computer gets erased until the transfer is checked.
