These pop-ups keep coming back. Is it a virus?

Your heart sinks a little every time you open the laptop. Another warning. Another flashing box. You don’t know what’s real anymore, and you’re afraid to click anything.

Tell me what appeared, what you clicked and whether anyone connected. I’ll find out what’s real, clean out what shouldn’t be there, and tell you which accounts need attention. No lecture.

Free diagnosis. $99 flat remote cleanup. Not fixed? You don’t pay.

Anywhere in the U.S. You start the session, you watch every click, and you can end it any time.

I’m Bryan Leasure. 30 years in IT. I answer the phone and I do the work, for people anywhere in the U.S.

Sound familiar?

You don’t need the technical words. Tell me which of these sounds like your computer, or just describe what it’s doing.

Pop-ups keep coming back
You close them. You restart. They’re back the next time you open the browser.
Your searches go somewhere strange
Your homepage or search engine changed by itself, and it won’t stay changed back.
A scan found something
You have a virus name and a scary report, but no idea if it’s gone or what it touched.
Someone was in your computer
A caller or pop-up talked you into installing a program or reading them a code, and they took control while you watched.
You just don’t trust it anymore
Three cleanup tools later, you still don’t know if your email, passwords or files are safe.

What I do.

Running one more scanner isn’t the job. The job is finding what changed, removing what shouldn’t be there, and making sure your accounts are safe.

  1. STEP 1

    Find out what’s real

A lot of “virus warnings” are just website notifications and scare tactics. I tell those apart from an actual infection before anything gets bigger.

  2. STEP 2

    Remove what shouldn’t be there

Malware, browser hijackers, sketchy extensions and leftover remote-access programs come off the computer.

  3. STEP 3

    Check what was exposed

We go over what happened and which accounts, passwords or payments need attention next.

  4. STEP 4

Leave it safer than I found it

Updates, browser settings and security checked before we hang up, and a plain list of anything you still need to do.

What I can fix, and what I’ll tell you straight.

The free diagnosis tells us what kind of help you need before you spend anything. If it needs someone other than me, I’ll say so.

Not sure if the warning is real? The scam check is free

What I fix

  • Malware and unwanted programs
  • Browser hijackers and forced extensions
  • Fake warnings and notification pop-ups
  • Remote-access programs a scammer left behind
  • Locking down accounts after a scam

Good to know

  • I never pay or negotiate ransoms.
  • Your bank handles any money disputes. I’ll help you make that call.
  • A badly compromised computer may need a clean reinstall. I’ll tell you before we do it.

Questions people ask me

A pop-up says I have a virus. What do I do?
Don’t call the number and don’t install anything it suggests. Close the browser. If someone may already have connected to your computer, turn it off and call me. The scam check is free.
Can you remove a virus remotely?
Usually, yes. You start the session while we’re on the phone, you watch every click, and you can disconnect any time. If the computer shouldn’t go online, I’ll tell you and we’ll plan a drop-off instead.
Does the cleanup cover my hacked email or bank?
I’ll help you identify and lock down the affected accounts. Your bank and email provider control their own recovery and any money disputes, and I’ll tell you exactly who to call.
Can you guarantee every file and password is safe?
Nobody honest can promise that from a scan. I’ll tell you what I found, what it could reach, what I changed, and what still needs your attention.
What does it cost?
The diagnosis is free. A remote cleanup is $99 flat. If I can’t fix it, you don’t pay.

Not sure what got in? Start with the story.
