Managing Your Subscription

Upgrade to Pro, switch billing interval, or cancel your BrainRoad subscription.

Accessing Billing

Open the Billing page from the dashboard sidebar. This shows whether you are on Starter or Pro, your trial end date or next renewal date, and the actions available on your account. All paid billing operations go through Stripe.

Upgrading from Starter to Pro

BrainRoad currently has one paid plan: Pro. To upgrade, click the upgrade option on the Billing page. You will be taken to a Stripe checkout session where you can choose monthly or annual billing and enter payment details.

Upgrades take effect immediately. If your agent was paused because Starter ended, upgrading wakes it back up and it resumes with its existing settings, memory, and files.

Switching Billing Interval

If you are already on Pro, open the Stripe customer portal from the Billing page to switch between monthly and annual billing.

Managing Payment Methods

Click Manage Subscription on the Billing page to open the Stripe customer portal. From there you can update your credit card, view invoices, download receipts, and switch between monthly and annual billing.

Cancelling Pro

You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal. When you cancel Pro:

  • Your agent continues running until the end of your current billing period.
  • After the period ends, your agent is stopped.
  • Your data and configuration are preserved so you can resubscribe and pick up where you left off.

If a paused agent remains inactive for a long time, it may eventually be archived.
