The Wi-Fi says connected. Why won’t anything load?

Full bars. Nothing loads. You were in the middle of something, and now you’re unplugging the router for the third time and waiting for the lights to come back.

Tell me which devices work and which don’t. I’ll find where the connection actually breaks, fix what I can reach, and tell you plainly if it’s the internet company’s problem.

Free diagnosis. $99 flat remote fix. Not fixed? You don’t pay.

Anywhere in the U.S. You watch every click, and you can disconnect any time.

I’m Bryan Leasure. 30 years in IT. I answer the phone and I do the work, for people anywhere in the U.S.

Sound familiar?

You don’t need the technical words. Tell me which of these sounds like your computer, or just describe what it’s doing.

“Connected, no internet”
Full bars. Nothing loads. The little globe icon just sits there.
Everything works except one computer
Your phone is fine. The TV is streaming. The one computer you need refuses to connect.
A new router broke everything
The internet company swapped the box, and now the printer, the laptop and the smart TV can’t find the network.
It drops in one room
Great in the kitchen. Useless in the office where you actually work.
You’ve restarted it all. Twice.
Router unplugged, computer restarted, the Windows troubleshooter ran, and you still don’t know if it’s the computer, the router or the provider.

What I do.

Restarting everything at once hides the pattern. I compare what works with what doesn’t, so we fix the right thing the first time.

  1. STEP 1

    Find where it breaks

I compare the computer that fails with the devices that work. That tells us fast whether it’s the computer, the router, the signal or an outage.

  2. STEP 2

    Fix the computer side

Network settings, saved connections, drivers, VPN and security software, one change at a time so we know what fixed it.

  3. STEP 3

    Get everything back on

After a new router, I reconnect the computers and the printer to the right network and test them.

  4. STEP 4

Only recommend equipment if you need it

If a dead zone or old router is the real cause, I explain the options. Buy anywhere you like. I never mark up hardware.

What I can fix, and what I’ll tell you straight.

The free diagnosis tells us what kind of help you need before you spend anything. If it needs someone other than me, I’ll say so.

What I fix

  • “Connected, no internet”
  • One computer that won’t connect
  • New router and password changes
  • Network and driver problems
  • Weak signal and dead zones

Good to know

  • An outage or a damaged line is the provider’s repair. I’ll tell you what to say to them.
  • Remote help needs a few minutes of some connection: a cable or your phone’s hotspot.
  • Wiring a whole office is on-site business work.

Questions people ask me

Why does it say connected but no internet?
The computer can reach the router but not the internet beyond it. It can be the provider, the router, a setting, a driver, a VPN or security software. Comparing a working device with the failing one usually narrows it down quickly.
Can you fix Wi-Fi remotely if it isn’t working?
Usually, if the computer can get online some other way for a few minutes, like a cable to the router or your phone’s hotspot. If not, I can still help by phone and tell you the simplest next step.
Do you work for my internet company?
No. I’m independent. I fix the computer and home-network side, and if the problem really is their line or modem, I’ll give you exactly what to tell them.
Can you fix dead zones?
I can tell you why the signal drops and what would actually help: moving the router, a cable, an access point or a mesh system. I don’t sell equipment, so there’s no reason for me to push one.
What does it cost?
The diagnosis is free. A remote fix is $99 flat, anywhere in the U.S. If I can’t fix it, you don’t pay. Equipment or provider charges are separate, and you approve them first.

Tell me what still connects, and what doesn’t.

Call with the problem computer and one working device nearby. The diagnosis is free, a remote fix is $99, and if I can’t fix it, you don’t pay.
